Volte Face

An about-face.  An about-mind.  An about-soul. Out of choice. Out of necessity.

Change, as they say, is inevitable. Sometimes, you need to. Conscious and self-coerced. While at other times, it catches you off guard.  The realization that you changed. Maybe, because you just had to. Could survive without it?

An about-face.Turning away from self.  Turning away from others.  Did that help, Darlin'?! The grapes are a lil less sour now?! Or you developed a taste for some sour ones?! The sweet ones don’t interest you any more?

An about-mind. Blocking thoughts away. Nah, off to hell with all of you naggers! A train of thoughts. Taking you on a trip with them.  Taking a trip back in time. Taking a trip to a different today. A different you.

 An about-soul. Sold of all the principles for a bargain. Got some new ones instead to plug the holes. The old ones were of no use.
